Duty work

There are both three-year and four-year fellowships. If you are appointed to a four-year fellowship, the duty work account for 25% of the workload. It is important to emphasize that you must have a total of three years net time during which to work on the doctoral education itself, and your duty work must not delay your progression in the doctoral programme.
