Exam date and time

You will find out the dates of exams after you have registered for the semester, and no later than two weeks before an exam. You can find them in Studentweb under “Upcoming events” or “Active courses”. Exam dates may be changed, and you are personally responsible for keeping yourself informed.

Exam dates for ordinary written exams are posted in Studentweb by 15 January for the spring semester and 15 August for the autumn semester.

The examination plan is made on the basis of ordinary study progression for the cohort. HVL is therefore not responsible for collisions between exams for students who chooses a different course of study than the ordinary one or for students who have more than one study right.

You must arrive for all written exams 20 minutes before the exam start time. As a general rule, exams start at 09:00. You will find the start times in Studentweb.

Remember to bring a valid photo ID to the exam, such as a driving licence, bank card, national ID card or passport. Note that a student card or the student ID app are not classed as valid forms of identification.
