Getting to Sogndal

Sogndal is a small municipality without an international airport. Therefore you have to transfer by bus, boat or domestic flights in either Oslo or Bergen.

Express buses leave from Oslo and Bergen several times a day. The trip from Oslo takes approx. 7 hours. The trip from Bergen takes approx. 5 hours. 

The airport in Sogndal services flights from Oslo and Bergen. From the airport, it is a 30-minute bus drive with the airport express bus to Sogndal city centre. 

From Bergen, you may also take the express boat to Sogndal (approx. 5 hours). Be aware that the boat arrives late at night and the SAMAN housing office will be closed. 

Find your way around campus 

The campus in Sogndal contains different buildings. In the main building Høgskulebygget you’ll find the Student information service, the administration offices, library and the cafeteria.
